Because of this, we cannot offer admission to many students with impressive academic and personal records. DOMESTIC STUDENTS


All programs held trough SMUP (Universitas Padjadjaran's New Student Selection/ Saringan Masuk Uniersitas Padjadjaran) mechanism. Application and schedule for the incoming admission can be accessed trough SMUP UNPAD.


INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS


ACCOMODATION


We offer a range of accommodation both on and off the campus. On campus we have eight fully-catered residential colleges. Off campus we have six self-catered, shared apartments. We recommend that, as an international student, you live on campus so that you get the most out of university life. There is strong demand for on-campus accommodation, so make sure you apply as soon as you receive your letter of acceptance.

Since the era of 70s, Alumni of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjajaran has made lots of contribution in the working world, either at the national or multinational companies. Students are given great benefits from the Alumni Association of Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Padjajaran (IKAFE-UNPAD). Through IKAFE-UNPAD, students are given supports, contacts and information in relation to the working world. Scholarships are also given by IKAFE-UNPAD to the outstanding students. Cooperation is also made with Governmental and Private Institutions. Through this media, the presence is expected to be a facility and liaison media for tightening the kinship among the alumni. BACKGROUND

The role of the accountants are crucial in Indonesian economy especially in the era of globalization. Accountants are needed in every aspects of the economy, not only in their role to manage the company`s financial reports but also produce financial and non financial information. Besides, they play role as an independent party to audit the financial statements of a company.

Financial Reports are considered as indicators of company\'\s performances.By using the financial reports as one of the major information, managers, investors, creditors and other users of financial reports can take right operational and financial decisions. Financial reports which are representative, accurate, appropriate, and reasonable, depend much on the quality of the accountants who make and audit the reports.

In the world of business with highly and rapid competitions, thus, the run of organizations are highly dependent on the adaptability, mobility, and flexibility. These factors are considered by many organizations to change into the paradigm of corporate governance which are more flexible. These changes are realized in various forms of transformation of the vision, mission, strategy, and further adaptation in the structure, culture, systems of organization , including accounting information systems particularly, and information system, generally.

To commemorate the new era in the world of business, accounting practitioners must improve the skill and expertise pro-actively to continue to survive. This is conducted by continuing education of advanced accounting that focuses on profession.

In order to participate in promoting the education system of accounting in Indonesia, and meeting the needs of the business with the advanced education that is oriented in profession, a program of Education for Accounting Profession was established, based on the Decree of Dean of Faculty of Economics of Padjadjaran University No. 17/JO6.6FE/Kep/KP/2005
